I Will Be With You Wherever You Go

Sometimes God asks us to step out into the unknown and trust Him. To believe He loves us so much that He won’t let anything happen to us that He hasn’t planned and prepared already. To trust what He has asked us to do and to believe that He think we are valuable enough to take care of us.

Once I wanted to be a missionary. I told God, hey God, I’ll go to Africa and sweat under the sun and dig trenches in the dirt for you. I’ll do it. I’m ready to do ANYTHING for you. So I put my summer in His hands and told him “anything God”, just let me know, I’m ready. He sent me to the mountains in California where I stayed with a group of missionaries and worked at a ranch and played Jesus songs on my guitar. I led Sunday school classes for 4 yr olds, and went on hikes with white witches who listened to my Jesus ramblings in turn to listen to her tarot card ramblings and nomad adventures. It was the best summer of my life. Who would have thought that given Jesus free reign wouldn’t end up in ditches in Africa? Who would have thought He would bless me and use me in unique ways meant just for me. Who would have thought I could trust Him.

Over and over again, He has proved faithful in my life and He will prove faithful to you also. You can take that big step of faith that He is calling you to.
